Sealant Depot, Inc. now offers a selection of Makita power tools for multiple applications in the concrete and decorative concrete industry.  Makita has made an excellent name in construction for all of their power tools.  At SDI, we stock Makita’s core and specialty tools for concrete which includes 4”, 4.5”, and 7” angle grinders, the 4” water-fed concrete and stone polisher which has impacted the world of concrete countertops, the hypoid circular saw, a 7” sander / polisher / buffer, one of the market’s only cordless concrete vibrators now available with 4’ and 8’ flex shafts and either a 12V or 18V battery pack, and of course the well-known 12”, 14”, and now 16” gas-powered concrete saws which are available with  64cc, 73cc engines, and now the biggest beast on the market…the 81cc engine for the 16” cutter.  Please call for pricing and to learn more about our Makita tools.

The concrete industry has long associated H.D. Hudson sprayers with quality and durability.  SDI stocks a variety of Hudson’s sprayers for multiple applications.  The 91004CCV is our most popular sprayer for heavy-duty use including the application of sealers and coatings, solvent chemicals, evaporation retarders and exposed aggregate retarders, as well as liquid release agents.  It is equipped with all viton, solvent-resistant seals and gaskets, two nozzles, and a lined, galvanized 3.5 gal tank,  The 91004CCV has all replaceable parts, most of which our always in stock at Sealant Depot, Inc.  We also have a selection of sizes and styles of polyethylene tank sprayers.  The TEK sprayer is our smallest of the polyethylene group making it handy for small acid stain jobs holding 2 liters of liquid with an adjustable spray, cone nozzle and a thumb-button trigger.  The TEK is equipped with standard seals and gaskets making it suitable for water-based materials and limited use of acids and very light solvents.  The Hudson 2001 series polyethylene sprayers are available with a 1, 2, or 3 gallon tank with an extension hose, adjustable valve, and plastic wand for upright use.  They are equipped with standard gaskets and seals making them a lower cost sprayer for use with thin, water-based materials, limited acids, and limited use with very light solvents and thin oils.  H.D. Hudson has now recently introduced a new sprayer to its lengthy catalog which best suits frequent acid-stain applicators.  The all new super sprayer comes with a 2-gallon polyethylene tank, all viton seals and gaskets, a selection of two different, replaceable nozzles, and a heavier duty, locking handle valve.

MiltiVibe was started by one of the market’s most well-known engineers J. Lindley, the former keystone for VibraStrike.  Lindley has progressed his patented designs with MultiVibe, creating more versatile and more useful vibrators for concrete including the Power Rod and the Hummer Screed which can be used with a screed assembly or detached with a flex-shaft as a vibrator.  The popular PR-100 two-handle screed, equipped with a powerful 4-stroke Honda motor can be fitted with up to a 24’ bar and used without the assistance of an additional power head.  The lightweight 3” x 5” bars can be attached and completely assembled and ready to use in less than one minute after taking it out of the box.  …and best of all, no tools are required.  The bars are engineered with tapering ends for fewer lines and a slightly contoured lower lip to help maintain a more controlled, level pull.  The bars are also constructed with a gusseted, angled backside plane and center support that runs internally the full length of the bar for extreme resistance to flexing and bending.  They are made with lightweight materials and closed ends to keep it clean from intruding concrete that adds mess and weight.  MultiVibe has a variety of lightweight vibrating equipment that can be fixed to bull floats and/or operated with cordless power.  All of which is available at Sealant Depot, Inc.
